PEREZ HEADS TO CINCY
The Cincinnati Blue Darters find themselves in the middle of a tight race for the AL North title, along with the Trenton Jokers and the Milwaukee Naturals. Only 5 games separates the three teams, and as we all know in this world, anything CAN and WILL happen. The Blue Darters have a tiny one game lead, and felt a move was needed to widen the gap between themselves and the second-place Jokers. So, how does Matt Perez sound? That's right, the Blue Darters acquired the three-time All Star from the Boston Stricken Gods for MLers Rob House and Miguel Colon, and High A SS Mack Snyder. Perez is only 4 seasons removed from winning the NL Cy Young award back in S9, so he's still got plenty in the tank. The Stricken Gods, currently at 36-50 and last in the NL East, decided moving Perez would be the best move for the organization. Boston's loss, Cincinnati's gain. Perez finds himself in a filthy rotation which includes Anderson Moss, Pete Sizemore, and Quentin McGee, among others. Will Trenton or Milwaukee make a key move to stay at the top with the Blue Darters? We will have to wait and see.
