The second half of S13 here in Shoeless Joe will begin officially today at the PM Cycle. As we take a quick look at the standings, we notice one team who is currently on pace to break major records.The Oklahoma City Redhawks, managed by adreid, currently has a record of 63-28 and sits rather comfortably in first place in the AL West. They have a 7 game lead over the second place team, the Salem Lights. If the Redhawks didn't exist at all, the Lights' record of 56-35 would place them tied for the AL best with the Cincinnati Blue Darters. Unfortunately for both of them, the Redhawks DO exist.
Oklahoma City is currently on a pace to win 112 games here in S13, which would blow away the Shoeless Joe record for most victories by a team in one season. The S8 Rochester Mountain Dwellers, managed by bobkordecki, currently holds the record with 106.
It's something to definitely keep an eye on. We've never seen a team dominate their schedule like OKC has. They begin their second half with a four game series at home against Salem. Sweep the Lights, and we'll all believe.
