HEINIE ROBERTS DEALT TO LITTLE ROCK


The Little Rock Lightning is currently in a battle with the Santa Fe Santa Clauses to remain out of the NL South basement. However, Little Rock made a major improvement by acquiring the services of Roberts. Roberts has that rare blend of power and speed, and you can be guaranteed that he'll be in lineup everyday. Dealt by Vancouver due to create salary relief, Little Rock only gave up ML IF Fausto Liriano and ML OF J.D. Grey to get Roberts. Improvements are usually made in small doses, but this one was huge. Don't be shocked if Little Rock makes a great leap up in the NL South standings.
