CONTRACT EXTENSIONS

..............................................................................................................................................................................

Luis Trevino

The Santa Fe Santa Clauses signed 1B Luis Trevino to a 4 year contract extension. The contract total worth is for $28M, which is extremely affordable considering the production he's put up so far in his career. Trevino has been the perfect example of durability, having played in 162 games for 5 of his ML seasons. However, a hamstring tear abruptly ended his S9 season only 90 games in. Back on track here in S10, Trevino is batting .316 with 20 HR and 51 RBI.

Eric Phillips

The Boston Stricken Gods signed Phillips to a 4 year/$14.4M contract extension. Phillips has been an integral part of the Boston bullpen the last couple of seasons, appearing in 165+ games and notching an ERA under 3.60. He's begun S10 where he left off in S9, an ERA at 2.76 and a 1.22 WHIP.

Alex Vizcaino

The St. Louis Soul inked Vizcaino to a 1yr/$3.6M extenstion. Vizcaino has been extremely valuable coming out of the Soul bullpen here in S10, with a 2.70 ERA and a OAV at .194. The 33 year old didn't get the huge payday he was looking for, but one more season with the Soul could possibly get him into the playoffs, and maybe get him the World Series ring every player craves.
