TRANSACTION OF THE WEEK

AUSTIN TRADES FOR RED STEIN

When Kansas City announced that they were going to start a rebuilding process, that got everybody's attention. When KC announced that Red Stein would be up for trade, that got Austin's attention. The Bats quickly swooped in and traded for Stein, giving up catching prospect Billy Hague and ML SS Benny Villa in the process. We feel Stein is going to love Austin, and he will put up huge numbers. Stein's veteran presence is just what the young Bat squad will need.
