As if the World Champs needed any more bullpen help. Rochester was searching for a relief pitcher earlier in the year, and they were going to do whatever it took to get a deal done. They gave almost every team a call, with little to zero results. Then, they contacted Salem. Salem indicated that Don Morris was available, and talks heated up. A deal was struck, and Morris found himself heading to Rochester. And the rest, as they say, is history.

This category is one of my favorites, because it praises hard work made by the winning owner. Ratatat72 had an amazing turnaround from last season, winning 12 more games. The Red Stockings also won the AL North, narrowly beating Trenton out in the last series of the season. I fully expect Cincinnati to take another giant leap as we head to S9. Excellent job!

We may soon have to rename this award the "bobkordecki Award". All jokes aside, bobkordecki has done an amazing job with the Rochester franchise. Back-to-back titles for the Mountain Dwellers, Rochester is quickly finding themselves on the verge of a dynasty. Pretty difficult to do, considering the age of Free Agency we're in now. So as we head to S9, I pose the question to you all. CAN THEY DO IT AGAIN??????????
