EDGAR ESTRADA
First off, the Convicks signed Edgar Estrada to a 4yr/54M deal. Estrada is a nice blend of power and speed, and he'll definitely help out in that Atlanta lineup. Solid sign by the Atlanta franchise.

PEDRO VELAZQUEZ
Atlanta helped beef up their starting rotation by signing FA SP Pedro Velazquez to a modest 2yr/6.2M deal. Velazquez spent the last 4 seasons in Little Rock, where he compiled a 36-32 record. Velazquez will be relied upon to help out an Atlanta pitching staff that finished 24th in Team ERA with 4.55.
