WEBSTER HEADS TO AUSTIN

The Austin Bats were already one of the AL's most dangerous teams. Now, thanks to the rebuilding of the Kansas City Pine Tar, the Bats just got even more dangerous. In a surprising move, the Austin Bats acquired SP Hooks Webster for MLers Miguel Alonso and Brandon Corey and AAA SS James Kuo. Webster joins Mo Nolasco and Alan Patrick to form one of Shoeless Joe's most impressive rotations. Whether or not the acquisition of Webster will help the Bats win a World Series title remains to be seen, but it certainly does not hurt in the least bit.
