LUIS AYBAR SIGNS WITH MONTGOMERY

This was a toss-up between Aybar and the Memphis DurtySouth signing Tony Johnson. They both are going to be great, but we give the nod to Aybar. Higher overall rating! (kidding) We love both of them: great defense, good hitting versus both lefties and righties. Both won't give you a ton of HR's, but they won't need to. The difference? It's small. Aybar is a tad more durable, better baserunning, and gets the slight nod in makeup. Yeah, I know. Big whoop. If you penciled both of these guys in the All-Star game for 10 years after their ML debut, I wouldn't be surprised at all. Great signings by both clubs.
