Boston (MA)The second team has officially punched their ticket to the S10 World Series, and that team is the Boston Stricken Gods. Boston defeated the St. Louis Soul 12-5 to win the National League pennant.
Billy Lamb, as everyone thought, had another monster game as he went 2 for 4, including a double, a HR, and 2 RBI. The Boston offense started early on St. Louis SP Hideo Yoshii and didn't let up at all. Five runs and ten hits later, Yoshii was finally taken out of the game in the 6th inning. Felipe Miranda and Anthony Willoughby each went 3 for 5 for Boston, providing the help Billy Lamb and the Boston team needed to move on in the playoffs.Jose Fernandez was not spectacular as he normally is, but he was solid as he picked up the win for the Stricken Gods. He gave up 4 runs and 5 hits before being pulled in the 6th inning. Yoshii gets the loss for the Soul.
