CINCINNATI WASTES NO TIME

..............................................................................................................................................................................

Brand new Cincinnati Blue Darters owner foolsgold79 wanted to make a splash as soon as he stepped foot in Shoeless Joe, and he did just that. In a major deal that was just agreed upon a few short minutes ago, Cincinnati sends prized SS Brant Jackson, along with SPs Matthew Beverlin and Bunny Howard to the Memphis Rum Runners, in exchange for prized SP prospect Pete Sizemore and SP Quentin McGee.

Pending league approval, this trade seems to help both teams out. Cincinnati has been a victim of owner neglegence in past seasons, as they've lost many prospects due to not being protected from the Rule 5 Draft. Bring over a guy such as Sizemore will give Cincinnati that face the franchise needs for the future. Quentin McGee will also do well, as he takes a spot in the CIN rotation vacated by those who left.

Brant Jackson is a stud, and he'll only help the MEM offense. Bunny Howard will take McGee's spot in the rotation, and he'll do well. Throw in Beverlin, and Memphis is sure to improve off last season's 47 win total.
