DONOVAN JOINS THE CHAMPS

As if we needed the defending World Champs to get any better.. they just did! Rochester today inked SP Ellie Donovan to a monster 5yr/98.6M deal, including a full no-trade clause. With that type of cash being handed over, you can be sure that the ROC intends on Donovan being a key part of their pitching staff this season.

Donovan could very well take the place of former ROC SP Gerald Vining's spot in the rotation, who signed a FA deal to join the Oklahoma City Redhawks. With the amount of this large contract, comes huge pressure on Donovan's shoulders. Will he be able to handle it?
