DIEGO TRADE RUMORS HEAT UP

Everybody was surprised to hear when Salem owner rootgargle proclaimed at the beginning of the S9 offseason that Diego Hernandez was available for trade. The request was simple: Diego could be had for a stud SP prospect. Simple request, harder than it looks. We've been told by people close to the situation that Salem has been on the phone with many clubs regarding the future superstar.

HERNANDEZ: Leaving SAL soon?


While many of the teams in discussion either A) aren't willing to part with a future stud pitcher, or B) don't have a pitcher who fit the credentials, we've been told that a SURPRISE TEAM has emerged into the front spot for Diego. We aren't quite sure which team this is, but we understand an offer was made. For it to be considered, it must be quite the deal. We'll break the news here at the SJW Blog first if we hear anything new.
