The trend was broken here in S14, as Shobob, owner of the Austin Bats who broke the record for the most wins by a single team (116), beat out World Series winner foolsgold79 for the prestigious title.
It was a close race, 11 votes to 9, which eventually sealed the deal for Shobob. Mumcoach, who coached San Diego to a 2nd straight NL title, was in 3rd place with 3 votes. Scottie 14 (Montgomery) and Adreid (Oklahoma City) both received 0 votes.
