The Salem Lights strengthened their rotation by acquiring SP Freddie Foster from the Kansas City Pine Tar. Also coming to the Lights is AAA SP Al Garces. Going to Kansas City in the deal is super prospect R.A. Donnelly, a former 1st round pick.

Minutes after the Salem trade was announced, the Oklahoma City Redhawks reached an agreement to bring Santa Cruz SP Mario Tallet into town. Heading to the Sequoias are P P.J. Servais, P Hal Perez, and P Fritz Olson.
