BERROA
The Seattle Scholarly Bombers were able to sign the first big-time IFA so far here in S12. Seattle came to terms with CF Torey Berroa on a MILB deal with a $13.5M bonus.
Berroa is all about the speed, folks. He displays great work with the glove, and has outstanding range. He fares better against left-handed hitters, and if he sees the right pitch, he'll be able to stretch a single into a double. He has unusual power for a man of his stature (6'2", 188 LBS).. I can definitely see Torey being a 40/40 guy, and an all-star for many years to come.
