TRANSACTION OF THE WEEK

MIL ACQUIRES 2 SUPERSTARS


Normally we'd only list one move as the "Transaction of the Week", but since this Week In Review is a special supersized one, we decided to be a little different. We're still amazed at what Milwaukee did in the offseason. Very rarely does a team get an opportunity to obtain one superstar, let alone two. As soon as Milt Kipling and Denny Gaston first stepped off the plane, the bar was raised for the Naturals. And so far here in S12, they have not disappointed. Kipling is absolutely raping pitching, hitting .356 with 10 HR and 40 RBI. Gaston isn't doing too shabby himself, hitting .301 with 12 HR, 38 RBI, and 37 runs scored. More importantly, the Naturals as a team currently holds a 3 game lead in the AL North with a 32-16 record. It's all smiles so far in Milwaukee, and we'll continue to monitor their progress.
