YANG SIGNS CONTRACT EXTENSION

Everybody loves to have job security, and that's exactly what Atlanta gave Pat Yang this week. Yang isn't great, but he's solidly good. Sporting a 7-8 record with a 4.11 ERA in S10, Atlanta figures Yang to be a huge part of their future. Yang won't overwhelm you with power, but he excels against righties and has a large selection of above average pitches. So when the decision had to be made regarding Yang's future, it was a no-brainer. They quickly offered Yang the 2yr/11.2M extension, and Yang made it official.
