The Arizona Barkleys claimed 2B Warren Jenkins off waivers. Jenkins played 58 games for OKC in S9, batting .220 with 0 HR and 5 RBI.

MCGUIRE

The Chicago Rooftops signed FA SS Otis McGuire to their ML club. McGuire last played for ARI in S8, where he batted .251 with 4 HR and 22 RBI in 130 games. McGuire is mainly known as a defensive specialist, and will take the place of Sun Nakajima, who was placed on the 60 day DL.

SERVAIS

The Santa Cruz Sequoias placed P P.J. Servais on the 15 day DL with a strained groin. Taking Servais' spot on the roster is Al Hayes, who was promoted from AAA.

CREEK

The Montgomery Smooth Skies promoted RF Mandy Creek from their AAA club. Creek, the 7th overall pick in S6, was batting .323 with 28 HR and 104 RBI in 100 games. Creek replaces Trevor Leverton on the roster, who was placed on the 15 day DL with a strained forearm.




The trade sending Paul Wang and Joe Newman to the Jackson Rebels was finalized. Going to the Little Rock Lightning are AAA 2B Rod Green, AAA P Timo O'Shea, and ML 3B Jay Martin.
