Wrigley Field, CHIGAGO (IL)
It was a historic game in Chicago today. Yes, it was game #1 for both Chicago and Rochester. It was an exciting game that went to 12 innings to complete. Chicago's Zack Hernandez hits a 2-run HR that propels the Rooftops to a 9-7 victory over the defending champion Rochester club. However, that wasn't the main story of that day.
H-ROD: 400 CLUB
With Glendon Cone at second base and Milt Kipling at first, Hector Rodriguez took a Javy Polonia pitch over the left field wall for a 3-run HR. More importantly, it was H-ROD's 400th HR of his historic career.
The SJW Blog would like to congratulate H-ROD for his historic milestone.
